2. Data collected

Belluna may collect the following data as part of its operation:

  • Food profile data: information about your preferences, allergies and intolerances, stored locally on your device.
  • Scan data: scanned barcodes and searched products used to generate analysis results.
  • Subscription data: paid subscriptions are managed exclusively through the stores (Apple App Store / Google Play Store). We do not have access to your payment information.
  • Usage data: anonymized data about app usage to improve the service.

3. Use of artificial intelligence

Belluna uses AI models (Claude Sonnet, developed by Anthropic) to analyze product composition and provide personalized recommendations. Data sent to AI models is processed securely and is not used to train the models.

4. Data storage

Most data (food profile, food database) is stored locally on your device. No sensitive personal data is transmitted to our servers without your explicit consent.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • Legal or regulatory obligation.
  • Technical providers required to operate the app (hosting, AI APIs), in compliance with GDPR.

6. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal data.
  • Right to rectification of your data.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Right to data portability.
